The other day my friend called me up to say that she was ditching work for the rest of the day after a dentist appointment because it was sunny and 75 degrees. My previous work engagement had literally just been canceled. And so we decided to head to Green Lake for a nice 2.6 mile walk around the lake. Green Lake is one of those places that I automatically relax and just smile all the time. Towards the end we looked out at the lake and saw these turtles soaking up the sun as well! Who knew there were turtles in Green Lake! We then went to a great Mexican restaurant called Aqua Verde and enjoyed chips, salsa, and pineapple juice on the deck. Oh I love Sunny days in Seattle, even though at this moment in time the wind is blowing like 50 miles an hour and it is rainy and cloudy, nothing can take away that glorious day!

We were given the same gift of 75 & Sunny recently here in DC (btw, that is one of my favorite songs- "75 and Sunny by Ryan Montbleau)
Anyway, also when I read this you were talking turtles and then said "we went to mexican food" and for like a second I imagined you picking up these turtles and they were talking and you all went and had dinner :) Hahaha.
