What happens in Seattle when it reaches 102 degrees

1. We break the all time record for Seattle by two degrees. The last time it was 100 it was in 1941. We folk over here in Seattle are not used to this!
2. EVERYONE CAN'T STOP TALKING ABOUT THE WEATHER. INCLUDING ME!
3. On the way home from school today I counted 16, yes 16 overheated vehicles. 12 of them were within one mile from each other.
4. Also spotted was a fire in the median due to the dry dry grass which left me stuck in traffic in my VERY cool (I mean that both ways) car for about 1.5 hours.
5. The air-conditionedcar or the movies is the only place to go for some relief.
6. You go to bed with iced soak washcloths all over your body.
7. You think you might melt.
8. You stop doing your makeup, hair, and also stop accessorizing all together (well maybe not Whitney, though I think she succumbed to the heat finally).
9. Everyone gets cranky.
10. You forget all modesty and start wearing skimpy little dresses to survive and don't care what you look like in them.

Yeah, how did I ever survive? Literally sweat is dripping off me and I'm inside. I also had AC in DC. haha ACDC....We folk in Seattle don't have that luxury cuz WE ARE NOT USED TO THIS!

With out A/C it is unbearable. People always say we complain to much, but seriously our house was 99 degrees for the last 3 days. They all would be complaining too if their a/c broke in d.c.
