I live on 5 acres of lusch gorgeous property, complete with flowers and gardens. This bird about four weeks ago we noticed decided to build a nest in the only plastic ferns on the property right by the car port.
About two weeks ago we noticed these gorgeous speckeled eggs. Four of them. SUPER TINY. About the size of a dove chocolate easter egg. Guess what, two of them hatched today. I've never seen something so tiny in my life. They are breathing and doing well. It is incredible! They are the cutest ugliest things I have ever seen in my life.

That's so cool! Reminds me when I was in middle school and we had little duck eggs and they hatched. I still remember feeling the tiny webbed feet walking around in my palm.
