I'm alive again

So I'm back. Let me tell you what has transpired while I was on a hiatus from my life. First off I was offered a full time job and I declined it, however really wanting it. Then they love me so much that they offered me part time but with full benefits! And I just signed my contract today! For those who didn't know, I am working at a private school called Childrens Institute for Learning Differences (acronym CHILD). Recently I had been subbing there and they liked me so much that they wanted to hire me, I was apprehensive because of my full time status as a grad student and this quarter I'm taking three classes as opposed to last quarter when I was at two classes and that was hard enough. But they negotiated with me! Yeah! So I think this will be good for me for a number of reasons but mainly, it will keep me on a schedule, and I like schedules! I am a bit chaotic when I have a lot of free time, so this will be good for school, work, and my life in general (ie: benefits and money). Second, it has made me realize how blessed I am. From the getgo me applying to school, getting accepted, the ease of the move across country, and how I'm doing in grad school, not to mention the boy has been quite enjoyable and easy. I had prayed about it and of course got that good feeling, and so I know I'm being blessed. For instance, the job just kind of fell in my lap and what great experience on my resume as a future school psychologist to work at a school that has "learning differences" in the title! I mean really people, it was that easy! Now this quarter is already filled with much anxiety and overwhelmniness (word?) because the nature of the classes but I just have to trust myself and the Lord more. That whole faith thing, ya know?

That is so wonderful, it sounds like things are really falling into place and that you will have the means to cover your needs and maybe even some of your wants!!

I miss you tons!

Congratulations Hayley! I'm not surprised at all that they wouldn't do what ever it takes to keep you around. Can't wait to hear more about it!
