I need your ideas!
So I'm celebrating (get ready for this) my 30th birthday in a little over a month. Since I will be in finals that week and unable to 1. have time for a cruise 2. have money for a trip somewhere 3. have the energy to pull off a huge event and 4. i hate birthdays, especially mine I am wondering if anyone has some ideas of something small I could do for myself. I realize I should probably celebrate this one and not let it pass me by as I usually do. This will be a big moment and I'm just contemplating on how I will remember it in years to come. So suggestions are all welcome.

Buy yourself something nice that you will have for years; furnature, jewelry, etc... something that you can justify the cost by dividing it by the number of uses :)

I say we have a party, a big party. But I don't think you should plan it. Maybe your cousins could plan it...what do you think? See you Saturday night!!!!
I like Carly's idea I just wish I was there to party and plan the party.
You could always take yourself out to dinner at Salvatores (or better yet let my dad take you).
Or get that massage that you didn't get the last time. Heck get a whole day at the spa! Again something that I wish I was in town for so that we could go together :)
You could burn anything from your 20s that you'd like to forget and celebrate a new decade--with other people--at a big party--planned by your friends or family. Let me know if there will be any festivities over on this side of the mountain. I'd love to come. (P.S. I felt the same way about my 30th. I wanted it to be special. Turns out, it was!)
Luv,
Sarah
